Would the book called Precision Trolling help me.
I troll for crappie with 1/16, 1/8, and 1/32 oz jigs. I thought maybe the book was probably geared toward crankbaits. Thanks.

Save you're money if you only troll jigs--but---if you are even thinking about trolling cranks then get the book.. Crappies hit cranks too..

You are correct, the book is geared to cranks.. wouldn't help ya much.. but if ya drag cranks, there is no better info on the market.

You could use trig. to guesstimate how deep your
jig is running.
ex.If you troll with your line entering at a 45 degree angle just multiply the depth you want to be at by 1.42, and let out that amount of line.
-at a 60 degree angle just multiply by two.
This is from memory, better try the math out yourself :-).In fact, Golden wrote a whole article on the subject, and it's on the net somewhere...
