I know someone that has a Megellan GPS system w/ C-map that was so accurate it showed what dock he was in in Fond du
lac. Does anyone know of any other GPS units that have this kind of accurate coverage. It showed contours and reefs and just
about anything else you needed to see on lake Winnebago. I would assume that this kind of Cartography is outsourced for
other manufacturers of GPS units. Please let me know. Thanks. Orange Barrel

Bottom Line uses the C-Map NT system with their NCC5300 (Tournament Master) and NCC6500 (Tournament Champion) units. I use the NCC5300 and have the C-Map cartridge reader. So far I only have the Wisconsin and Illinois "local" cartridges. These have minimal detail in comparison to their "super lake" series, however, I still find it very useful, especially on unfamiliar water, and in the fog. Check out the C-Map web site, I believe that they have a listing of all units on the market that employ the C-Map system.
