Good question. I would amagine that if you are resourcefull enough you could mount them on any board. Problem 1 is having the correct length of wire going from the flag to the rear snap. Problem 2 is having a good place to ount the flag. Problem 3 would be having the correct length of spring to reach formthe flag to an ancher point. If you can solve these problems you are set.
A buddie of mine made his own tattle tale flag for his off shore boards. The only thing he needed was a piece of wire, a plastic washer and a spring. Everything else is already on the board and just need to be moved around.
