Brother's and Sister's!
I need help to find something that is related to the outdoors but not Tight-Lines (maybe a check cord).

I am looking for a pointing dog club in MN to work
with my two new Weimaraner's. GUNTER & GRETTA....
Please email me or post...

I apologize for using this board in this way,
But as you know this is the best board around!

Thanx
Butch

Hi there,

Dogs, fish, they're all cool...;-)

Mark Courts out of MN would be the guy to talk to.

Let me see if I can find his card somewhere.

Mark is a walleye pro, and raises dogs for hunting. Bird hunting mostly I think. Is that what your looking for?

Email me at juls@walleyecentral.com and I will give you his phone number.

If he is not the right one, for your needs, he would be able to tell you who to go to.

Get with the AKC and they will help you get in touch with the "Weimy" club of America. THey will give you state by state clubs. Hope your dogs hunt better than the Weimaraners I judged at a "weimy" field trial 10 years ago. I withheld 1st (only first place get title points) the other judge placed the 2nd, 3rd and 4th and those dogs had a combined total of stopping to "pee" of over 70 times. He said it was normal with the breed. Running Brittanies and Pointers I didnt agree. Isn't it nice to find all this expertise on Walleye Central?????

Jeff thanx for the info.
I however have gone that route with the WCA
and there is only One in MN and they don't offer it.
I wanted to know if there were clubs and such around Mpls/St.Paul. I can probably call around to differnt kennels or Game farms to see if people are training. But I don't want to pay a trainer, just share knowledge and bird/cost with a few hunter's out there..

O' and Amen to this board!
