I would like to plan a nice weekend fishing trip. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I don't want to spend a thousand dollars but, would like to fish for perch and walleye. And a place where most everything is furnished. Thanks for all the help.

If I were you I would travel to Minnesota. Lots of Different Lakes to choose from. If your fishing mainly perch and Walleye I would go To Mille Lacs. Very good fisherie. Then you have lake of the woods, and lots others.

Lake Winnibigosh in northern Minnesota is an excellent perch lake and has a very good walleye population. There are a few resorts on the lake that have decent cabins and ice fishing houses. Also, there are several other lakes that have large panfish nearby. Here's a website you can check out for Winni--www.juddsresort.com.

lotw is vast, avoiding the crowds and catching fish is easy. Catching fish amungst the crowds in places works too.
