I just found out today that the Herter's store in Beaver Dam is now owned by Cabela's.I called there and was told that you can buy Cabela's products there. As well as place orders for items, pick them up yourself and save the shipping costs.Just thought some of the Wisconsinites would find this interesting......Got to find my catalog I think I've been extra good this year.

OH-OH!! I'm in trouble now! Anyone have any more info. like phone no.or business hours.I get to Beaver Dam,on occation,usually on a Sunday.I don't know the location of the Herter's store.My desination is usually Fleet/Farm.Thanks!!

This is great info. I live only about an hour from there and never heard that the old Herter's store was reopened.

They didn't have much for fishing,just ice fishing stuff.But they did have all I needed for my weekend muzzleloader hunt.

I stopped in the store today and talked to an employee.I was told that this store is going to do seasonal sets.Right now they are geared up for ice fishing.But as the seasons change they will move into open water fishing,turkey hunting ect.Also you can place an order for anything in the Cabela's catalog,come to the store to pick it up and save the freight charges.
