Great game and I froze my but off. The vikes played well but they are a classless team after the garbage they pulled after the game. Hovan is a punk and deserved to be doused with beer.

I suppose that cheap hit on walsh while kneeling wasn't classless? Farve, all mouth no backbone.

Explain what you are talking about with Favre. I was at the game and from were I was sitting when the guy kneeled down it looked like a clean hit and I saw no flags. Hovan ran after Favre and I am shure it was not to congradulate him on a good game.

the only way those ,Packers were going to win was if the Refs changed the
the flow of the game and after Kline saucer was tackled on a pass play attempt and the fans booed the replay andthe Viks punted back to the Packers and they picked up the
next flag on the return, that changed the outlook, I will give Favre credit for getting it done, but a 28 yd pass interference when defensive holding was the call or chucking beyond 5 yds.
San Fran will put the Packers to 10-4 there not there yet but Next wk we will see.

The Pack had a "12th man" last night--and it wasn't the fans. It was the refs. How many of those fans were really fit to drive home? It was good though to get a clear picture of Wisconsin when the camera scans the crowd. Give Bret credit--they don't get any better. Just another typical Sunday at Lamb Bone field.

Yep The refs sure did help the Slackers win another Game.

The vikes got beat by not playing defense when they needed it!

It was soooooo cool watching the viking fans go from gloating...to crying at the end of the game!.....all talk to silence

it was about 0 outside, but worth every degree of it to see that game.....Nice sportsmanship Viqueens!!!!!

I'm wondering if viking fans get there whining from the players or vice versus!Whats your excuse for loosing the other 9 games this year?Must be a conspiracy against the vikings right! One thing for sure is that some of you viking fans and some of the players are the poorest sports out there! Its a game get over it!

REFs? Cmon man..it's obvious you were'nt there last night...the Vikes gat a heep of no calls in the first half....it all equalled out.

The Interference call in the 4th quarter? The refs threw flags before the pass was even thrown..I was sitting right in front of it!

The packers D played when they had to..the Vikings D played with themselves

I think the REF's were off on both ends. I am a Packer fan and I'll admit, I thought Ni'al Diggs was interfering on one play I saw.(I forgot the receiver's name, but it looked like he darned near tackled him) But how could a ref not see a pass interference on Donald Driver's endzone incompletion. It's pretty tough to not see the fact that his glove was pulled off his hand and landed right there in front of the REF. I doesn't come off all by itself.

You're right. I wasn't there. Hard to get a ticket to Wisconsin's version of a black-tie ball. I especially liked all the ladies that looked like Donna Shalaha in a camo hunting jacket(XL). The good news is the camera caught them drooling only about half the time.
Seriously, you see all the replay's at home and I bet you would conclude that the ref's were really poor. Bet you won't see 'em around the big games. Probably be some fines also. I thought Farve was outstanding in the second half. Tell you what--if the Pack had a couple of players like Hovan they might just get by Tampa Bay. The Pack behaved equally bad at the end--at least on tv. Been watching the Pack since '57--those days they had both quality and class--as did their fans.

where was your hero Horvan last night...all talk (and dance) no action....the Jumbotron shows every replay nicely! I love you backseat monday morning QB's who sit in your livingrooms instead of comin out to games.

If we had a few Horvans we'd be nothing more than a bunch of P@nsies....kinda like the vikings

So the Vikes got screwed.
12-09-2002, 01:58 PM
Ok, so the vikes got screwed yesterday, what about the double digit losses this year? The vikes season ended long before yesterday. Vikes could have called it a rebuilding year, after yesterday tho, it's fair to call it a losing year.

The NFL is fixed, last night was just more proof. No wounder kids would rather watch the X games. Go talk about this on a football board where someone may care about a bunch of over paid idots (Moss, Farve and the rest of them, why can't these millionaires build their own stadiums.)

NFL fixed? If that were true you'd think William Clay Ford with all his gazillions of dollars could buy us a win over here in Michigan once in awhile

Thanks to the refs! Thanks to the NFL fixers! And most of all thanks to the Vikings!!

"God I loved the Packers, I do anyting for da Packers!"

I've heard it all now....

Go tell that to the Packers lineman that was laid up in a hospital for days after the Buc game. I guess he didn't read the fixed script or he would have know he was going to get clocked. Maybe Favre should have told him in the huddle to watch out for Sapp cuz he's going to throw an interception on the next play. People ##### in Minnesota about everything. Whether it's your DNR, your politicians, your hunt/fish regs, your right to allow DNR in your shacks, out of staters, your sports teams. If I missed something that I've seen on this board, please feel free to add.

After all is said and done, Tice is a class act who deserves to continue. He makes no excuses, is objective (generally) and has the support of the team.

Being forever Packer fans/stock holder and former resident of mudduck land (grudgingly) I find it hard to find something good to say, but I totally believe my opening statement. Sunday's St Paul paper was pretty accurate.

In my age group, I guess I must be 1 of 10 people who were not at the Dallas Ice Bowl but we did attend the party afterward at the Appleton Left Guard. Good time. Jackie Collins was there with Donny Anderson, a beauty (Jackie).

Maythe Vikes get good draft picks

The Vikes will be back when Moss stops tanking it for 3/4's of the game. They could do far better by drafting other receivers costing much less and taking the time to truelly build the team back up. But Red M. won't have the time to wait. So, they will get close, then no cigar. Need a new owner or a new attitude by the owner. You have the coach and 3/4's of the players already. But lose Moss!

MR I have heard it all.... I am a Vikings fan that lives in MN but you are way out in left field on this one and alot of you others are to. I am also a big fan of Brett Farve and love the way he plays the game (most of the time). He also has made many mistakes ( I do believe he had a problem with pain killers not so long ago) and giving the finger on the field is not a class act but a mistake. These guys are paid huge amounts of money for a GOD GIVEN TALENT but guess what I along with many of you have god given talents in our work place that alot of these guys could not do. Can any of us get by with the way any player in the NFL does in our work place.NO NO. As for the fact that some people from MN complain about everything from A-Z so do some people from Wis. So the refs did a very SH###y job there is nothing we can do about it now but when you come on this link and group all MN into the same pond you better step back and take a good look because if the whole situation would have been reversed I would have to ask SOME people from Wis if they would like a little cheese with the drink. Life goes on and it to short to waste on people that are making millions and acting like babies. Also bring a radio as I do because there are way to many walleye's to catch and game birds to down before the end of the season. And you can still be a die-hard fan Later Walleye Fred

Mr. Walleye Fred who?

Just give it a rest. Like one poster mentioned, Tice is the only one not complaining. Follow his lead. For those that don't believe the Pack will go far, I say you may be right. However, we still have something to root for and since only 1 team will win it all, I feel fortunate to at least be in the playoffs regardless. Good night.
