Do any manufactures make a dedicated depth finders for ice fishing (other than $400 vexilar style units), ones that float the transducer in the hole or have some other method to easily place/move the transducer from hole to hole?

Do Eagle, Lowrance, Garmin, Humminbird, ect. make floating transducers or some kind of ice fishing mount for standard transducers??

Im not sure on other manufacturers. I dont know if you saw this, but you can get a recond. Vexilar FL8 SLT (I have had one for years, its a great unit) for $199 with a one year warranty. Thats a pretty fair deal. Its on thier website.

take your flasher off of your trolling motor. Duck/t tape 2 big bobbers together and then to top of the transducer. Floats and can be moved anywhere faster than any $50 gadget.
