Having trouble finding lodging on lake of the woods / baudette Jan 9- 12th. Any body have any tips?

check their web @ lakeofthewoodsmn.com - sounds like things are pretty full weekends into Feb. Try hotels in Baudette or call the tourism office, they try to keep track of who has rooms when things get full.

Have you tried Schuster's Resort (800-243-2412). We've been staying their for the past 2 winters and are going back this February. I just locked in the rooms a little over a week ago. Others that come to mind are Sportsman's Lodge, Wigwam, and Wheelers Point, but maybe you've tried these already. Sometimes if a place is completely booked, if you ask them they will refer you to another place and so on and so on. Good Luck.
