View Full Version : Need Help with in line planner boards

The other day is the first time I used Off Shore In Line planner boards with the tattle tale flag. I caught 8 walleyes but not once did the flag come down. The only way I knew I had hooked a walleye is that the rod was slightly bent and it stayed in that position. What could the problem be. Thank you.

Raychamp, I can only think of two possibe reasons,either the screw holding the flag on is too tight or you are not leaving enough slack between the two release clips.Good Luck Get em in the net!!!
I completely agree with walleyemaster. Make sure you have some slack in your line between the two clips, I think this is the problem as well.

If the posted replys don't help Ray, contact myself or Off Shore Tackle. I think the replys will fix your problem though.
Also, watch for the board to be pulled under water or drop back swiftly behind the boat, sometimes thats more noticeable then the flag.
