Went to the river today to just take a look see. I was shocked! So I drove over to the bay (green bay) and it was as low as the river! Whered all the water go? The river was a full foot lower than earlier this fall, and that was down from the summer. But this happens every year too, why is the water always so darn low in the winter? Does it shrink??

I have noticed this as well.

The last few winters we haven't had the snowfall of the immediate past and that might be one reason.

I also have watched a documentary where scientists have found bacteria 52 feet down in 65 feet of ice on a lake in Antarctica. Aside from it coming to life, they have dated it back to 2800 years ago. It had to have been alot warmer then than now for the bacteria to be so deep into the ice.

I only mention this becuase the Earth might be on a warming cycle and this may only be the beginning.
