I am hoping someone can help me.!
I moved my transducer from outside the boat to glassing it inside due to turbulance where I was losing my bottom reading while on plane.
Today I was out and I can get my digital depth to read out but I cannot get a bottom reading. I tried to adjust the sensitivity up and down but it didn't help. I know when I finally get this thing going it will be great but right now it's a pain. I am sure I don't have any bubbles in the glass and the transducer appears to be flat.
Thanks for any help you can give me. JACK

Jack, Are you still shooting through a layer of of fiberglass???? If you are, You might be wishing you had posted an informational request before you glassed it. I have never seen a "shoot through" tranducer installation that returned a decent display. You lose a considerable amount of power and sensitivity trying to push it through a layer of fiberglass. If don't get a display I would recommend re-positioning another transducer on the transom.

I have more than one glassed on the inside, and have real good luck. The 350 has more than enough power to read through fiberglass. One thing you might check is the power frequency on your unit. If the frequency was switched from 192 to 50 it will not read bottom. Hope this helps.
