Otter Street Walleye Tournament Names New Winners

Otter Street Walleye Tournament directors today released a revised winner list for their recent tournament. The
new top twenty finishers are as follows: First Place - Gordon Schwartz and Brett Wilkens, 22.85 pounds; Second
Place - Paul and Don Bednarek, 21.56 pounds; Third Place - Gordon and Carl Rose, 20.12 pounds; Fourth Place -
Ted Karow and Rick Kerr, 19.84 pounds; Fifth Place - Rick Kielmann and Kyle Harmsen, 19.04 pounds; Sixth
Place - Don Behlke and Randy Mulder, 18.90 pounds; Seventh Place - Daniel Ruben and Dennis Schmidt, 18.58
pounds; Eighth Place - Pete Hibbard and Jim Sprague, 18.30 pounds; Ninth Place - Dave Tellock and Mike
Schrage, 17.94 pounds; Tenth Place - Pete LaFontainae and Brian Youngwirth, 17.04 pounds; 11th Place - Tom
and Jeff Brauer, 16.92 pounds; 12th Place - Dennis E. Halbach and Jon Waller, 16.84 pounds; 13th Place - Mike
and Larrie Hetzer, 16.74 pounds; 14th Place - Linn Boedeker and Ken L. Seeley, 16.10 pounds; 15th Place - Mike
Bonow and Bruce Peterson, 16.02 pounds; 16th Place - Tom Benak and Mike Hildahl, 15.10 pounds; 17th Place -
Jeremy Hogan and Donald Wendt, 14.62 pounds; 18th Place - Larry Margelofsky and Bruce Muche, 14.46 pounds;
19th Place - Joe Gibson and Troy Peterson, 14.40 pounds, and 20th Place - Scott and Mike Bastian, 14.32 pounds.
Missing from the top twenty are the former first place team of Brian Downie and Clark Van Straten. Also absent
from the list was the team of Robert Kolopzik and Tracy Weber, who had previously been in 19th place. Both
teams were disqualified due to the determination that they were fishing out of bounds. The determinations were
made after additional witnesses and information poured into tournament directors the week following the initial
ruling.
