Boat lifts/hoists - input please

Have an 83 Larson - 2000lbs, 16ft long. Just broke our 2nd Shorestation cantalever (2 in 17 yrs). Looking into another new hoist. We have a Hewitt salesman at our lake - product looks ok, but I'm leary about the pullies...

The cabin is in Nebraska, and the hoist will be in the water year round.

Any input, or recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

JBUG, I bought a 3600# shorestation used about 7 years ago. Mine isn't a cantilever lift. It just has pully system and lifts straight up. I have had my old bass boat on it for 6 years. No problems(except for a tornado ripping the canopy off) at all. Now I have my aluminum boat ( aprox.1500#) on there and I would recommend it to anyone.Hope you find a good lift! <;{{{{<<(
