HELP!!!!!!
This is the second time I have lost bottom contact with my Lowrance Depth Finder in 2 years.
I will be going along charting and everything is great with my sonar and than BAM!"NO BOTTOM"..

It is on the right frequency and on auto...
in 35 ft of water and it is showing me 350 ft..or deeper.

Has anyone have any ideas before I send it back again to Lowrance for the 2nd time????After awhile we fisherman get tired of being without our units...

Thank You;Mark

Have had a similar problem, twice. Both times it was a bad transducer. Buy a spare, hang it off the side of the boat to see if it corrects the problem.

Are you running two fish finders at the same time? Mine will do that if I run the unit on the bow at the same time. Too much interference

May have a oil film on the transducer, try cleaning it. Has it been bumbed so it is out of alighnment?

If that don't do it I would guess it is the transducer and should be replaced. Check the pin's in the conection also?

By pins I ment the pin conections to the unit. But it may be the transducer by the way it sounds now? Best try a differant one and see.
