I live on Winnebago and have had a shore station for the last 13 years. I've never had any problems with the lift except for the sleepless nights I've spent whenever a storm goes through. I had one boat blown off the lift and onto the rocks and almost lost another. If I was to give you any advice it would be to get a track and dolly system if possible. I'll be getting one next spring.
Just my opinion.

I just bought a new Aquamatic lift and am pretty pleased with it. If you are in the Fox Valley area, get in contact with Doc and he can set you up. www.walleyeonthewolf.com

i have a floe lift with a 620 ranger under it and it cranks up like a snap. it is lite, and absolutely the best lift i have seen or used. had a shorestation prior to this and no comparison in my opinion.

I have a Shore Station brand lift for my Pro V 1900 and am very happy with it. Haven't had any problems with it coming off the lift during storms, but being on the Fox Chain-o-Lakes in northern Il., I'm sure we don't experience anything like Winnebago has. Good Luck, johnb

A lift will work great in most inland lake conditions. You can adjust height on most lifts. Get an aluminum lift with plenty of extra capacity for people who want to use your boat as a sundeck. Also for gas, equipment and water if the boat is uncovered in the rain. A canopy is very nice, then you don't need to cover the boat all the time. I always pull the plug on the boat on the lift. Grease the winch once a year. Get it out of the lake before it freezes! I have had a shoremaster for ten years and it has held the lund with no problems. I think they are made in Fergus Falls, Mn.
