probs with drag on 5500c3 abu baitcasting??

Hi guys. Im goin muskie fishin tommorrow. Well my proble is with my drag on my reel. i can tighten it and loosen it but it always stays the same. any way i can fix this my self? my dad bought it 4-5 years ago and he had the same problem whem he got it. but he got it to work. any suggestions?

You may have flipped a tapered drag washer over. Check that first. If all else fails, get it to a reel repair shop. Probably cost you less than 10 bucks.
