Hi guys,
I'm heading for Arkansas for a week of vacation and want to check out the fishing down there. I have heard that there is good walleye fishing at Greers Ferry. Anyone on the board fish down there? I plan on doing some fishing for trout in the Little Red river. Then tour the area checking for good places to fish later. Yeah I have to take Mama to Branson for a day or two. I plan on retiring in June and want to plan a trip for fall or next spring. Any info. about the area would be appreciated. I am from Indiana, near the St Joe River in Mich. My son caught a nice walleye there two weeks ago. We had to lift the anchor and follow the fish downriver for a bit.

Check out Bull Shoals while your there ... it's the best kept Walleye secret in the world. Also Norfork and Table Rock can be good. If your going to Branson, stay at the Kimberling Inn at Kimberling City ... your 20 minutes to the strip, but best of all you will be on the lake. They have their own ramp and slips and great people.

I second Sonny's recommendation. Check out the Mountain Home area - it's consistently rated one of the best places in America to retire, particularly if you're interested in fishing! It's
minutes to Bull Shoals and Norfork lakes. Great trout fishing in the White and North Fork rivers and smallies in the Buffalo River. Check it out at

on fishing there. Contact Jack or Barbara Burk if
you want info on real estate. Nice houses for not much money!
