CJ,

Yes, Purple Demon is a great color at times. Not my # 1 but it's up there. Let me know if you have too many. I might take some off your hands!

Meyer,s in Dayton Ohio has a sale on all of their last year stock of Reef Runners 4 bucks a lure . They have four colors blue chrome , flame , purple demon and rainbow trout . I have hit three stores before my wife got on line and saw the master card bill . Maybe the Meyer's near you is doing the same . They have one heck of a bunch of purple demon left .

All of the Meijer's that I have been to in Michigan have their entire Reef Runner selection marked down to $4. As you said, though, the color selection is limited.

Havn't done very well with any of the reef runner lures over the past three years but I have caught a few fish on them in July of last year out of the state park in Prequile in Erie in 55 foot of water caught a six ane half lb. small mouth bass on a purple colred rip stick with a board so I havn;t not caught a walleye on that color as of yet but hear it big in Ohio western basin >
