I'm not a tournament fisherman, but I really enjoy reading the results of tourneys.
Here's a suggestion (although I'm not a participant, so I'm easy to ignore): when total weight(s) are posted, but the number of fish caught to make that total is not posted, the result only tells us the margin of victory (and who won, of course). The average weight of fish caught is of at least as much interest and probably more significant than total weight(s). Posting the number of fish can be as simple as placing it in parentheses before (or after) the weight.
Example: Charlie Crankbait (10) 35.56
Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the efforts of those who post the finishes, in whatever form -- I'm only suggesting this as an improvement.
Great point!
1st Place caught 4 fish (Big Fish:6.07)
2nd Place caught 4 fish (BF 4.87)
3rd Place caught 4 fish (BF?)
4th Place caught 4 fish (BF 6.27)
5th Place caught 3 fish (BF 5.54)
Thanks for the suggestion! I will include from now on.
I checked the web site listed and found nothing there regarding this tournament. Also, what was the final results from the Pro team Tournament held on the Winnebago chain over a week ago? thanks
Due to the Holiday we didn't receive the results until Thursday eve.
I believe I typed, "they will be listed by WC and our site", I didn't mean to mislead you, I ment the first chance I get I will type the results on our page.
As for Winnebago, we had 30 teams and I should have the results ASAP.
The Oconto results are on our web page. Thanks for your patients!
mistake at the weigh in?

we noticed at the weigh in that it looked like an error for some of the weights but the people asked just kind of went on with it anyway
your 2nd place total is 21 pounds something with the big fish at 4.87 pounds....with 4 fish weighed...there is no way that can be 21 pounds something
we noticed this with a couple other weights too while standing there and pondered how that could happen and wondered if 5 were weighed or what's going on with that recording there

Mistake at the weigh in:
The big fish is chosen by the fisherman. Just because the weights don't seem to add up, this tells me that the fisherman chose the wrong fish as their big fish. That is probably the reason that the weights don't seem to make sense. Once again, the anglers choose which fish will be weighed for the big fish, not the people running the event. Hope this clears things up for you.
