Last time I looked out the window, the sun was shining and the fish have been biting here in New York, so all's great with the world, right????
So guys, how come all the Bashing on the board
lately?????? I can understand it during the winter. I get bored and bad tempered then too.
(Don't I, Scott. :-) ) This is the time of the
year when we trade fish stories and help each other out with our problems and play nice. Let's
hold off on the other **** until the snow falls
and the wind howls...... Please give it a try.

Alot of the threads have involved "ethics" or what is "moraly right or wrong". This makes it like arguing about religion. Opinions are deeply held and the boundaries of good taste get pushed when people feel thier beliefs are being stepped on. We just have to take it with a grain of salt. Along with the bashing there are some good points made. We are a diverse group drawn together by a love of fishing, our disagreements can be very entertaining if we don't step to far or to hard.

You know, the older I get the smarter my father becomes. He once told me, "Don't ever start a fight BUT if you get into one, don't loose"! I have taken this to heart and it has made me far wiser than many of my contemporaries!
It has made me tolerant of those who I may disagree with BECAUSE I have learned that these folks do have something to share, but the delivery needs work.
Since I have been kicking around this board I have learned MUCH and I hope others have learned from me. Not only about fishing but, also, about the people on here. We all need to SHARE with each other which is what nearly all the posts do. This is a GREAT RESOURCE!! I want to work to keep it that way.
