Come to Galyan's at Castleton in Indianapolis this weekend between nnon and 5pm each day. Mike Gofron and Chief Papineau will be there as well as local walleye pro's and fisheries biologists.
Call 317-576-0300 if you have questions.

Original poster couldn't spell "Indiana" but even so, there was a thread on this not too long ago. Only body of water I forgot to mention was Cagle's Mill Reservoir, which receives stockings. Can be a little difficult to fish due to fluctuating water levels which don't allow weeds to develop as they would with more consistent pool elevations.

if you live in nw ind give me a jingle....i mostly salmon fish but they are catchin nice eyes and smallies at the port...just don't enter them in the state records, if you catch a 14+ eye....i fish all the time...thinkin about going out tonite except trying to get a cold...steve heckler...never a dull moment on my boat as if the fish aren't bitin we can solve all the world's problems...steve

he's probably too much of a tree-hugger for me...but i'd take him on...just finished his book...global warming was the worst chapter...other than that i liked the book...lots of ammo...and these guys still never read the book as is evident from their terribly researched replies...steve heckler...they gotta read what they talk so loudly about...but their side of the fence is notorious for "blind, leading the blind"...the only good thing about that is they are so easily whooped on the debate floor...oops i better watch it or this thread will be zapped....steve...we gotta fish some day...where are you located?....i'm portage....soon the coho frenzy will hit and i take either my canoe or dingy to the end of the ditch and have a real riot casting for coho...steve

2002 was a banner year for Walleye on Lake Monroe in spite of record water levels. E-mail Reelmn for more info on spots, he caught most of them. If you're interested in attending our gatherings, there is a gentleman who works at the IU Cyclotron that you may be able to share a ride with. Reelmn or I can provide you his e-mail address if you are interested.
