What would be a good time to come to Lake Waubay in the Fall. September or Oct?????????

Not to get specific on particular lakes, I think October into early November is prime for quanity and quality.
I'd agree with October, the fishing around this part of SD is usually best then, although sept. can be great too, and the weather's typically a bit nicer. The other advantage to October is that most everyone else will be out goose hunting, so the lake should be pretty uncrowded.
