How shallow of readings will you get with these units? The box says 3.7 feet or deeper. I sometimes troll in 3 feet or less. Will I get a depth reading either the bottom or digital readout with one of these units in 2-3 feet of water? Is the bottom hardness easier to distinguish with these than with the Lowrance units?? Thanks
