trailer tire problem

I have a '96 EZ Loader with a torsion axle. Rated to carry a 2200# boat. The boat is less than that. Unfortunately, been "eating" tires. Five since I bought the trailer. Wear pattern same on both. The outside two inches of tread gets worn to nothing. Inflation is fine, maybe toe-in? Doesn't seem to be any possibility for adjustment. hpat

Sounds like you axle is not square with the trailer. Or it could be bent which would give you a toe in problem. take it to a trailer place and have it checked. Abe
