Does a person need to be registered to look at the classified ads on this site? I am looking for another boat and heard that this site has alot of boats listed but cannot access them.

Thanks,
Steve

No. I just looked at the classifieds after I read your post and before I logged in. I believe you have to be registered to post an ad, but not to view. I just clicked on the Classifieds link on the top of this page and then clicked on Boats and saw everything out there.

Dave.

No, I doubt it. Just click on classifieds, and then at the top of the screen you will see the different categories. Click on "Pro Boats" or whatever and enjoy shopping.

I am just wondering why a person can have a picture of a 3 dollar lure on ebay, yet someone trying to sell a 30k plus boat will not put a picture with the boat add? I' not ready to buy anither boat at this time ,but I am sure more interest might be met from others if there was a picture included. What do you think?

On both of my computers I get the message saying "This page cannot be displayed" I guess I will try elsewhere. Thanks for the advice but I doesn't work.

Thanks,
Steve

In answer to your question about the not putting a picture on this site , the reason many people do not is because you have to shrink the picture to a small enough size for them to put it on there. Scott used to do this for you as he did for me when I sold my first boat but he must have got tired of it because I could not make it fit last time and I just put on there if interested to ask and I would email pictures, kind of a pain for me but I did get an idea of how many looks I got vs how many actual interested prospective buyers I had from his site! It was lots about 10 to 1 vs any other one out there !! This site is great for selling and buying a boat. Just to give an idea .... I placed an ad on WC 12/29 and the same day asked for one to be placed on Walleyesinc.com to make a long story short I sold my boat 1/21 and on 1/26 Walleyesinc actually put my ad up I asked them to remove it the 27th when I got a couple responses and it is still up.... The kicker is there is a whole bunch of info about another boat posted in my ad so it is not even correct. Granted that was a free ad but next time I will spend the $25 and advertise here only !!!
