Clarkend,
You are looking at some nice cases, but I would also check out the B&B boxes. Hope you don't mind the suggestion.
I have a 987 and a 192 4X6 and they are both the best I have used. When you are spending big dollars on boxes I like considering all of my options.

B&B is also a product listing on Walleye Central.
Good luck,

I purchased a couple of the Denny Brauer bags for the purpose of storing my river jigs in. The only complaint that I have is when the plastic bags get cold if there is any amount of weight inside of them they will split at the seams. Sure hope it warms up by the time we fish Detroit!

I purchased the Cabelas "Magnum" bag, and ended up ordering the "Super Magnum" the next year. You can't have too much room! Both have held up great.

I have the super magnum (biggest) Advanced Angler bag. 4th year now. Great bag, no complaints, really holds a ton of stuff. Haven't looked at the DB one. No need to. My Cabela's bag is doin' the job.
Better to have and not need than to need and not have!

I had the Super Magnum, it looked impressive when it was full, but dar near brok my back if I had to carry it. Then somebody need the bag and tackle more than I so they took it. I miss the contents, but hte bag was to darn heavy. I replaced with two bags the next size smaller.

Hi Clarkend:
I first ordered the magnum size Cabelas bag and then added the supermagnum size. They are absolutely great. However, the supermagnum is too heavy when loaded up - especially when including jigs, bottom bouncers, and snap weights.
Grey Wolf has a great idea of using two bags of the magnum size. That should be plenty of space for the 3700 boxes and have double the end storage pockets.
Get the different Plano 3700 series boxes. They make many thicknesses and you can really increase the capacity of the bag and make your tackle more organized.
Check out Cabelas Boundary Waters drybags. I have a drybag duffel bag and when up in Canada for a week, put the tackle bag in the drybag and just leave it in the boat all week without anything getting soggy. There is plenty of room in the drybag for guidewear, and other necessities.

I was fondling the Denny Brauer Signature Series last week at Galyans. It looks like a dandy bag! I almost bought it but wanted to look at a few more similar models. I haven't laid my hands on the Cabela's bag yet but I'll have to swing through Owatonna to check it out this weekend and decide then.

I have the cabela's magnum bag. It's a great bag and I would not want one heavier than it is.What ever bag you buy make sure you get a top loader. They work much better and most give you big pockets all the way around.

I had the super magnum, but it was to heavy and bulky. I also found myself having a hard time organizing it.
I've actually gone to the other extreme now...I have six of the smallest bags so that I can segment my tackle by catagory.
1 bag - jigs
1 bag - bouncers/associated stuff
1 bag - spinners
1 bag - snells/bait rig stuff
2 bags- cranks
It works well for me
