Is it just the ol amagination or does the hot hot weather mess things up. How can I improve my success in these conditions. I usually fish the Missouri river, surface water temp is 74 degrees

In Hot weather, I have had great luck speed trolling with Hot-N-Tots. Make sure you have your baits well tuned and then work speeds from 2MPH up to 3.5MPH and let the fish tell you the best speed. You will want to run baits at a variety of depths. Just remember that at a particular speed, the depth curves from Precision Trolling start to skew. Good luck!
