German product nut buys Jap

I have been buying VW's since I have been 18 years old. I am now 44. I have never own another car then a VW since my Firbird at 16. My wife and I have been in the market to buy a Jetta wagon when we finally saved enough money for a good down payment. We finally saved enough. We both don't care for the crap that France & Germany are spewing. Their governments are getting to radically socialist for our taste. We now have a NEW Subaru wagon in our driveway! I called VW of America and told them my story, God it felt good! I have always tried to buy German products. I just like their attention to detail. NOT ANYMORE!! I tried to bring back our Seiman's phone, but we are past our 90 return time. I will use my wallet do my talking! I will also call the German company that would have recieved my sale and tell them I bought another brand because of their radical government veiws. I don't think or know of any French products that I buy so they don't recieve my money anyway.

Sometimes they don't make a product that I like. It is only in recent years that American car companies could compete with non USA based cars. They have only changed that through competition. With electronics there are no real American made products anymore. Subaru's are built by american workers out east somewhere. Subaru was an alternitive to the Jetta. Subaru has the best crash test #s then any other car in it's class. I think I like the overall theme of this car better then the Jetta now. Build it good, don't over charge. Don't try to sly by cheap. ( bad crash test#'s == bad strength & design ) and I will look at what you have to offer. If you are a German or French product you now have 10 points against your product to start. If an American product was well designed and it is something I can afford I will buy it. But ,if it is sub-standard I will pass it up. Like I said, German and French products now have major points against them in my book. France & Germany are making their bed, now they can lie in it. With one micron of help from me.
