Small Dipseys ,How Deep?

I have been doing well with the small Dipseys ! But the fish have been suspended at 40ft in 68ft of water , when they head to the bottom I would like to keep using the small dipseys so I can keep my lines about 240-260ft behind the boat ! (spookey fish) so I would like to know if you can use some kind of more weight at the Dipsey to take it down deeper?

Yep you sure can, but you'll have to experiment to find out if 1, 2, or 3, or even 4 oz's is the proper amount of added wt. Good luck
