I own an LMS 350A and I have been having trouble with attaching and unhooking the unit. The plastic screw-in connector is very difficult to turn. Has anyone out there had a similar problem, and if so, any suggestions? Thank you and keep the line wet!

I sure have. I have busted many a good knuckle on that thing. The only fix I have found however is to always carry band aids. Sorry

I was experiencing the same problem you are having. It was very frustating to take it on, and off every night (especially while on the raod at tournaments). I have found a quick fix that has worked for six months so far. I just gave each of the connectors a quick shot of silicone lubricant and they have worked much better! Try it and good luck!!! FROGMAN has you going in the right direction. The nice thing about the silicone is that it won't collect dirt. HOOK 'EM!

Yepper, use the silicon or Dielectric grease. It will do 2 things. Make attaching/detatching easier and it will reduce/elimante corrosion on those contact pins.

Happy trails!
