Finally after five months dealing with Tracker, I got my boat back. Happy Day... No Way!!! Now I have extensive amount of wrinkles in my carpet and my cover is now brown instead of gray (except for the red where the paint was rubbed off on it).
So, my question is, does anyone have a good idea on how to get these wrinkles out? I don't count on Tracker to help.
Thanks
Once again all I can say is:
TRACKER BOATS...NEVER AGAIN

Doc,

Sounds like you need to lift up the carpet and lay it back down. The hard part is getting the carpet up. Spreading new adhesive and getting the carpet to lay flat is easy. I figure it must be because I just did it myself and it turned out great..and that is not how things I fix usually turn out. Is the carpet held down by rivets or screws? Can you get to an end of the carpet where you can start peeling it back?

You can get the outdoor carpet adhesive and recommended spreader at Home Depot.

Did you at least call Tracker to see what they could do for you? Or have you completely given up on them? Understandable if you have. Maybe you should sell it and buy a ---start controversy here-- Lund. ;)

Good Luck

The carpet itself is held with screws as well as glue. I think the problem now will be lining the screw holes back up. I have talked with Tracker and I have given them a carpet replacement estimate and they have not even returned my calls. I hate Tracker so bad. And yes my next boat shall and will be a Lund. Need to come up with a few extra dollars though LOL.
