Looking to buy a old 83' 12 foot Aluminum meyers boat for my first boat. It has a few dings, and small bumps to it like any aluminum boat. Doesn't leak and comes with a (rusty, old) shorelander and no motor. The guy wants 300 for it but i think that is way to much. Am i right to think that. Also does anyone have any info on them, like quality, owner satisfaction.

I have a old meyers I think a 70 or 71 yr model 12 ft. This boat has seen more eyes than most Lunds Crestliners ranger etc. will ever see! I dont know what it is but we usually always come home will nice eyes, I have a larger boat but i STILL use it on 9.9 lakes and crush the eyes, my back gets a little sore when Im in it for 12 hours or so but it always catches fish. I would not sell it for 2,000, there are dings all over it, had a few leaks, nothing a cold weld didnt fix.
