I went to the Northwest Sportshow in Minneapolis yesterday. I attended Ted Takasaki's and Tommy Skarlis' seminar. Great information. Based on information seen on this site, I picked up a Don Canney fillet knife and will, hopefully, test it out on some crappie today. It looks like a great knife. I also took a hard look at the Pinpoint locaters. When I need to replace the one I have now, I think they are in the lead. The three features I really like are the high speed scroll rate, the ability to change settings and review the past screen's data and the most importantly the ability to get upgrades as new features become available.

I've been using a pinpoint system for 3yrs. now. I had two problems with the 3700 series trolling motor, had to send it in and the second time they sent me back a NEW motor, no questions. I have also sent my depthfinder in each winter just for software upgrades. The product delivers and so does the company! Skeeter Boy
