This is slightly off topic, but I'm looking for some info on fishing off the breakwall in fairport. Anything would be helpful. I just moved to this area and I don't have a boat so I'm limited to this area.
Thanks.

If your looking for fish the long wall was hot for perch about a month ago. I don't no anymore have not fished it in some time. thewalls on each side of the river produce all kinds of fish depending on time of year. This time of year emereld shiners on the bottom shouldproduce some perch, white bass, sheepheads, and occasional smallmouth but thats more a worm and crayfish bite. In a couple of months the short peir will start to produce coho, and steelhead fishing usually gets good aroung late september throw little cleos and k.o. wobblers in orange and silver blue and silver and green and silver or suspend a small 1/32oz. jig with maggots (about4-6) maggots under a float about 3 to 5 feet down. Later in the year around october and november perch and walleye and bourbot can be caught off the long peir with rapalas getting the nod for the eyes. and shiners for the bourbot and perch. If you want e-mail me for a update cus I'm thinking about going with my nephew for some fun. Its a good peir and lots of fish are caught just you just need to no how and when. Hope this is what you where asking for good luck.
