Eyes???? I've been boating every darn thing you
can imagine with them except eyes. The gold #12

Should be working...maybe your presentations a little off..work it slower with longer pauses. Use them all the time, maybe your not matching the bait size in your lake that the eye's are feeding on. Or, their off the minnow bite and you should try floating leeches...Just guess work so take it for what its worth..

Your pick'n on me now aren't ya Ness? Ya-see how ya are!
I do VERY well on Husky's in most color's and size's. Night and day they produce well, night especially!
My biggest complaint is the lip's seem to be getting worse! Break off lips all the dam time! I have a Christmas tree full of them! They do make good jerk baits on the surface lipless for Gators.
I e-mailed Normark about the lips and they said it was due to abuse--DA! Heard that coming a mile away! The lips are easily replaced but they won't send me any, I'll keep pestering them, they will give!
One thing Ness I never use the split rings, they go Bye-Bye right away. The action is better with a good Rap knot or a cross lock snap. Not all Husky's are suspenders also, some sink a bit, some float. Line weight will alter this also.I tweak the eye downward a bit to get a wider wobble too, take it easy on the eye though!
I do a lot of walleye fishing in 10ft and less of water so that may be reflecting on my luck with them. I know they have good luck running leadcore for deeper walleye on Husky's on the Big Mo. out west.
I hve a lot of faith in them!

For me, they seem to be a much better bait in spring/fall. We troll them on handheld rods and give them a twitch and then slack. This time of the year, I prefer to run baits with a higher amount of action like a Hot-n-Tot or Reef Runner. YMMV. I am starting to work with the deep HJ and have had mixed results. Others that I know have had fantastic results with the deep HJ.
I tried the deep ones last time out. My poor arm.... Perhaps, crash is right, I need to slow
down the presentation a bit... Been wondering about that myself. Of course, it could just be
that the picks and the bass are hitting so much
that the eyes even if they are right there are being put off by that? I hate to give them up
(the Husky Jerks) I'm having a ball with them :-)
This year, I'm holding the big fish category in
the family for bass and pickerel. Gee, this boat
owning thing is fun, guys...

When you find the Bass and Pickerels, back off a little bit into deeper water or the second drop off, weedline, ect..., if you have to put a little wieght in front to work it deep go ahead. The eyes are usually back under the active fish picking up left-overs..at least that works on my lake..

Hi I guide for walleyes on portage lake in Michigans upper peninsula. I use these for night fishing by casting/twitching them along rocky shorelines or over sparse weeds . They work very well!
