I have a 7520 and 3000. Got a Ram mount for the display. The speed indicator went blank yesterday and I looked at the place where the connector from the rear puck connects to the display and it was obvious that the 3/4 inch (approx) spacing had stressed the plug where the wire enters the plug assembly when I had been swiveling it up and down. I called Pinpoint and confessed my part in the destruction of their machine to the tech rep. THIS IS AS GOOD A COMPANY AS YOU ALL SAID!!!!!!! He is putting a replacement in the mail for me under warranty!
I am going to reinforce the plug on the next one to hopefully make it "Mac proof". I've been thinking of using a piece of rubber tube filled with Aqua Seal and covering it with shrink tube. Any ideas on re-inforcing?
