Does anyone out there have a recomendation for a good rainsuit. I currently have one that is made out of Gortex, but it doesn't stay dry like the rubber suits. I would like to get a good quality product that I wouldn't have to replace every couple of years. Looking for manufactors and where the best prices can be found.
There have been lots of raves on this board about Cabela's Guidewear. That WILL be my next set of rainwear.

I bought my guidewear this spring and just
love it. It has kept me dry in the worst
weather. It is worth every penny.

I've been using Cabela's Guidewear for three years now. I wouldn't have anything else. The outer fabric may be wet, but I'm completely dry inside. The zipper on my bibs broke last year While I was in Canada and they replaced the bibs, no questions asked. Great product, great customer service. What more could you ask for? LOL Fred

Hi
After getting wet with a few other rainsuits under conditions of downpours and rough water, finally bought the Bass Pro Shops 100 mph rain gear - bibs and jacket. Works fantastic even in rough water and stormy conditions.
Good luck

Another vote for Cabela's guidewear. Everything else left me wet.

I bought guideswear last fall and the bibs leak in the left leg, so sent it back and got a new pair that work fine. It is worth every penny. I am sure that the bps 100 MPH suit is also very good.
I have had my guideware for 5-6 years now and have yet to get wet. The thing I like is that I stay dry from the inside too. What I mean by that is, in the old rubber suites I would be so wet from sweating that I may have just as well have left them off. The guideware breathes letting moisture out not in.
Keep your rod bent!!
