Johnson's Silver Minnow w/a white split-double tail grub as a trailer. The bigger the spoon the better.Try 3/8oz. spinnerbaits (white w/colorado blades)buy the cheap ones the northern doesn't know the difference.

In-line spinners, such as Mepps, are also great for pike. I like those with plain treble hook, no bucktail, and I add a single Uncle Josh bass strip -- preferably the red and white (which is hard to find these days). Josh pork rind strips, however, must be kept wet. Be sure to remove and put back in the container when you take a break in the fishing. Good luck.

I use chartreuse and white spinnerbaits for pike. I have to agree with a previous post about using the cheap ones. Pike won't care and they can destroy a good spinnerbait in a hurry. Go with a 3/8 or 1/2 oz.
Where about will you be fshing? If you need more help go to the address below and join the club.

Pike are also sucker's for large jigs. Take a banjo minnow body, or any large plastic bait and use a 1/2 oz jighead. Keep in coming back to you quicly with long jigging strokes. Also get some 1 oz Rattle Traps and some Husky Jerks.
