new sauger/walleye limits on LOW

boy was i suprised to see the new minnesota
2000 fishing rule book...
summertime limit of walleye/sauger on lake of the
woods is now 8....(not more than 6 can be walleye)
the winter limit remains 14.

i have always said the 14 fish limit was more
than generous. and i dont have problem with this
new limit...but i dont remember hearing anything
about a new limit for this year on the lake...

folks comming to lake of the woods this summer
keep this new limit in mind....consult the rule
book for the full deal...

one more thing the perch limit is TBD...

This reduced limit was part of the settlement with Ontario, that allowed us to posess fish again.
