Cabelas, Nebraska Stores

Going to be going out I-80 to Salt Lake City later this month. Want to stop at one of the Cabelas stores in Nebraska. Anyone been to both the Sidney and the Kearney stores? Which one should I stop at? Anything special to be on the lookout for.

If you have only one choice it's not even close - Sidney hands down. I prefer to check the bargain cave first then do my regular shopping. You can have a ball checking out the premium guns, mounts, and other stuff too.

Kearney is perhaps 1/4 the size, not sure. Sometimes they have tent sales in the fall. Have fun

Been to the Sidney, NE store, much bigger than the Kearney store. Recommend it greatly.

Dean, the new Cabelas store in Dundee, Michigan is supposed to open on Aug 30. It is just off I94 near Monroe. From what their web site describes, it is to be bigger than the other stores.

Not sure I would want to be there the first day as it is bound to be a zoo, but from what I hear it is going to be worthy of a visit.

Sidney is much larger, Kearny reminds me of a big ol time hardware store.

Denied, the Dundee, Mi. store will open August 30th. its at m-50 and us-23. it will be the largest store.
