Garmin 162 vs lowrance 1600 gps

Just wondering if you can download the lakemaps(Navionics) into Garmin I think it is the 162, that are available for the Lowrance units. I like the more pixal count of the Garmin unit but would like the maps more. Any comments on either would be appreciated. I curruntly have Garmin 2plus but want the map and bigger screen.
