Im not sure this will help but I have had problems with my foot pedal also. look in side, its simple ,if its sticking just lub the slide bar. or it may be a return spring, there are two. hope this might help.

Is that plant still in Mankato? I know there was one, If it's still open the use to have great deals there.
Thanks for the help. I called Minn Kota Service and Parts 800-227-6433 (Johnson Outdoors). They told me that even though my buddy's foot control works on my motor, the problem could be in my motor!? There are only two authorized service centers in Colorado - Christies in Ft. Collins at (970) 224-5835 and Hullings in Colorado Springs at (719) 634-5056. These foot controls (the ones with the 18 ft. cables) range in price from about $68 to $92, depending on the model. My foot control steers the motor just fine, but I can't get the prop to turn. Thanks again for the help.
