As the RCL Walleye Championship draws near, everyone is becoming more excited about this History making event and we can hardly wait ourselves. And now, qualifying is over and tomorrow, September 1, 2000 participation is open to any original owner who has fished any of the qualifying events beginning April 10, 1999 through August 20, 2000. This means that even though you did not qualify, you may now enter and fill positions that are open. Our rules state ...” In order to assure a full field of 400 anglers, if any of the qualifying anglers choose not to enter, participation may be offered to other original Ranger, Crestliner, or Lund owners who have competed in any of the qualifying events beginning September 1, 2000 “.
And to clarify a couple of often ask questions.
# 1 What does original owner mean ? Original owner means that you are the first owner of your boat, that you are the first title holder.
# 2 I’m the original owner, but I don’t have a new boat, am I eligible to enter ? .. Yes, most definitely. There are no year or model restrictions on eligibility. You my own a 1982 tiller model and be eligible. Only

At this time the Pro angler side is full with a waiting list. Pro anglers may enter and be put on the waiting list if you choose to not take a Co-angler position. However, Co-angler positions are available. With a first place award of $75,000.00 guaranteed and up $150,000.00 with bonus money, this maybe a position you would want to accept.
