Planning a trip for the lake this fall and was wondering what would be a good launch to go to if I plan on fishing until after dark, I will be comming from the southern part of Michigan. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I presume you will come in on US 31 north. Take the first exit AFTER Apple ave. It will slowly veer off to the left(if it doesn't you know its wrong), and will merge with Bus. 31 south into Muskegon. Once you get into the outskirts it will merge again, and approximately 1/2 mile ahead you will see a sign directing you to turn right for the Fishermans Landing boat launch/campground. Best launch on the lake, 10 concrete ramps, and plenty of parking. $5 fee for each day. Good Luck FROGMAN
