ive owned mine for 4 years now and was wondering how you all have your speed caliberated? if i use gps to go by and set the speed at WOT its way off for trolling, and vicy vercy, i usually use the gps for speed but shouldnt the speedo on the 350 be more accurate? paddle wheel seems to be working very smooth too, just wondering what you guys/gals do.thanx minneman

Paddle wheel is more accurate at low speed, GPS is more accurate at high speed. Use them both accordingly and you're close enough.
Also, for low-speed trolling. I constantly monitor the paddle wheel reading, GPS reading, motor sound, bend in rods, and feel the action of baits being pulled. You just have to figure out your boat's fish-catching speed.

I don't pay much attention to the speed going down the river. It is about 2mph slower than the boat speedometer at high speeds.
As far as pulling cranks might seems to work just great at 1.5-2mph. I catch fish anyway.
