Hello what do you think i should go with for walleyes fireline or XL? why do you think i should go with that line? what are the pros and cons of both lines? is foreline like all the other kinds of braided lines?(ex.spiderwire)? of i go with fireline do i need to use a flurocarbon leader or something?? thanks for your time

I use both. But, if the bite is soft while jigging or pulling spinners, I use the Fireline for better sensitivity. Be sure to back your reel with about 10-20 feet of mono (It keeps the Fireline from spinning on the spool) then tie on and spool your Fireline and then use about a 5-6 foot Floro leader. I used that setup for the last 1/4 of the season last year and I really enjoyed the precision. The smaller diameter Fireline let me get down to the fish with lighter jigs while drifting.
I use the Trilene XL for trolling and casting into the shallows. The stretch in the line is not so hard on the lures, especially when you are in and near rocks, etc.

I would agree w/ Aquaman 100%. You need both. I have several reels to choose from but if I only had one reel, I would have 4 spools. 10lb. mono, 6 lb mono, 6 lb fireline and 14 lb fireline. All good for different situations.
