I am considering buying a autopilot,any infro would be helpful. Are there other products similar out there? How about cost and installation-best left to a mechanic?. Boat is a 1775 Lund, 150 Evinrude with a 15 yamaha kicker.

Ive hqad a Tr1 in my last 2 boats and wouldnt be without it now. They are like having someone there to control the boat while you fish. I installed me last on in about 4 hours, most of that time was spent tring to figure out how I wanted to run the wires and hoses. your new TR1 will come with complete installation instructions. Hope this helps

I have a TR-1 and really like it. The magazine Bass & Walleye Boats April issue has a review and a how to install article. I did not install mine, but did install an upgrade. If you are handy with tools you could do it, if not have it done. If you troll much with a kicker you will love the TR-1.

The TR-1 is the best investment that I ever made.(just dont let my wife know)! It does it all, keeps you going the right speed once you find it.Catch a fish,just hit idle resume.Once the fish is in the net,just hit idle resume agian and it will take you back to the exact same speed that you was at!! I agree with the last 2 post i had my dealer install my TR.1 when i bought my boat and installed it on my 9.9 four stroke.
