FYI-Wolverine Boots do not stand behind their product, as mine were falling apart after a few months. They claim they sent replacements, but they sent to the wrong address w/out a signature required. UPS left it in the bushes they claim. I even went to this address to ask the lady if she ever saw them. She says no. The worst part is they told me,tough luck...your loss. And they never returned my calls the whole time. I had to keep calling them long distance, and I find that unexcusable. Anyway just wanted to warn you all before you lay down your hard earned $$$ for a new pair of boots....FH

I purchased Wolverines thru where I work. The leather started peeling off the 3rd time of use. Wolverine examined and mailed me a new pair, which UPS also lost. The insurance covered $100, Wolverine ate the other $30 of cost and sent me the 2nd new pair.
Maybe the problem may lie with UPS. Check out your driver, is he wearing new boots? Seems like anything I get lately that comes thru Ups ends up lost, misplaced or very late. I now order nothing that delivers UPS.
Normally anything thru UPS is automatically insured for first $100, you should at least be able to recoop that amount.

"ain't necessarily an eagle - it's some kinda bird with wings on it".
Sorry in advance if I offend anyone, I just couldn't resist. TGIF, I expect to see all of you on the water tomorrow!!!
Wow I bet your driver is raiding everyones stuff. I've always got everything from ups that I've ordered and use them about once a week.
I bought a pair of Wolverine boots, and after owning them over a year, one day I snagged one of the eyelets on a root and pulled the eyelet right out of the boot. I took it back to the store where I purchased it, and they gave me a brand new pair! In my case, I've had excellent service from Wolverine. I think UPS might be the culprit in your case, Fishead. Good luck!
Try the redwing boot; they're a little pricey but worth it in my opinion. Had a pair that was over a year old and got a soaker one day. Boots were supposed to be waterproof and was given a new pair on the spot. Where I buy mine they give free laces and shines (work shoes) for the life of the shoe/boot.

I have been wearing the same pair of Red Wing hunting boots for 20 years now. Have had the soles replaced a couple times but they are better than new. More comfortable, now that they are well broken in, than any tennis shoes I have ever owned. Never have had to find out about warranty. Sounds to me like you need to be talking w/ UPS, Wolverine did their part by sending the new boots.
Sounds to me like your problem is with UPS.
