Kicker-motor

I just returned from 10 days at LBDN..I have an 1850 Lund Tyee I/O, I now realize I need a kicker motor. I prefer an electric start & power lift system..most of the guys up there use a 9.9 Mercury..any other ideas on motor & a particular lift system..using it for trolling boards...thanks in advance

I have a 2000 1850 TYEE O/B. I use an 8hp Mercury tiller.
The 8 hp works just fine for boards and holding you on points in current. A 9.9 would not hurt you either. If dollars are not a concern, get the 4 stroke. Go to a good LUND dealer for a mount to fit your I/O
